On the Road

SAE-MIT REUNION, 2012 - A rendezvous with the fraternity gang again, this time in Santa Fe,  NM.
The turnout was the largest so far, and we got to see some more old faces for the first time in about fifty years.  
Jake and Peff provided a suite on the top floor of the hotel for parties, and a great time was had by all!

VISITING THE PEFFERS, 2012 - Bill and Gunni at their Colorado cabin.
As Bill likes to say, the cabin is "off the grid".  His sole source of electric power is a set of solar cell panels,
and a propane fueled backup generator.   We had a great visit with good folks (and a couple of very lovable dogs).

GREAT SAND DUNES N.P., 2012 - This national park is only a few miles from the Peffers cabin,
so we had to get a few pictures for old times' sake.   Twenty years earlier,  Dave hiked these dunes
with his two sons at the beginning of a month-long odessey through the American West.

A DAYTRIP ALONG THE CONNECTICUT RIVER, 2008 - A trip on the Essex Steamtrain,
followed by a tour of William Gillette's castle,   then back on the train,  and finally a riverboat cruise.

SAE-MIT REUNION, 2007 - Reconnecting with old college fratenity brothers. 
It's amazing how more than forty years suddenly evaporate, 
and our physical changes, undeniable as they are, become so transparent.

KENYA PHOTO SAFARI, 2006 - East African wildlife,  lots of it,  and a Maasai village. 
Nairobi,  Amboseli NP,  Lake Nakuru NP,  and the Masai Mara NGR. 
Unforgetable.  If you get a chance to do this,  jump on it!

MONTANA, 2003 - Just some wolves for now.  Cougars, badgers, and more later.
